About YourCare Training

A Registered Nurse with over 20 years’ experience in the independent nursing home sector, having progressed from Care Assistant to senior leadership roles including Nurse Manager and Learning & Development Manager. This journey has given me a strong, practical understanding of care delivery at every level.

I provide clinical and operational leadership focused on safe, person-centred care, regulatory compliance, and staff development in line with RQIA standards. I am passionate about building confident, capable teams and embedding a positive learning culture within independent care settings.

My work has been recognised through multiple professional awards, including RCN Healthcare Assistant of the Year, RCN Nurse of the Year (Independent Sector – Runner Up), and IHCP Emerging Leader Award, reflecting my commitment to quality, leadership, and continuous improvement.

Your RQIA Governance and Compliance Support

From auditing areas of concern highlighted in QIPs, training, and Regulation 29 reports, to offering guidance on any compliance or governance issue, we work alongside managers to ensure their homes are safe, well-managed, and inspection-ready.

Your Family Support is a unique, hands-on course designed to help families truly understand what life is like for their loved one in a care home. The programme gently guides relatives through the key elements of daily care — from personal care routines and medication support to mobility assistance and emotional wellbeing — so they can feel informed, reassured, and involved.
